Skito's newest pad, their Interpad just for treeless saddles! This is a half-pad style pad, meant to go over or under your favorite blanket or show pad, while still providing the horse with needed spinal clearance and proper weight distribution. This pad features Spandex fabric on top with quilted Wool Felt underneath, curved leg relief, and front load foam access. Shims can be added as needed,
email customer service to add these to your order. The cover is machine washable (lay flat to dry). Standard contour gives wither clearance for most horses. Choose the high wither options for horses with pronounced withers or "shark" withers.
The only seam down the spine is the joining seam for the two sides. The Velcro® closures for the foam pockets are located on the front edges of the pad, eliminating bulk under your saddle. The foam panels on either side lift the saddle off the spine leaving an air channel down the center of the pad. Foam inserts are available in ½" or ¾" flat panels and laminated thicknesses. Laminated inserts are recommended for treeless saddles that do not have panels, such as Bob Marshall, Freefrom, older Barefoots, or Torsion saddles.
Email customer service if you're unsure of which option to choose. Laminated inserts have a smaller, tapered layer of foam adhered to the flat foam, createing greater thickness/protection along the spine, with less bulk under your leg. This is a great option for wide, flat horses as it creates a "twist" effect, lifting the rider just slightly off the horse's back and allowing the leg to drape more comfortably on the sides of the horse.
All saddle makes and models can be acommodated. Please measure your saddle front to back (longest length) and choose the pad size that is 1.5-2.5" LONGER than your saddle. For example, if you have a Bob Marshall Endurance saddle that measures 24.5" long, you would choose the 26" size and "Rounded Western" for the style. When checking out or after your order,

Each pad is CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER! Please allow 2-4 weeks for production and delivery. Delivery times will take longer (3-5 weeks) during late Spring through early Fall. Delivery times are shortest during the Winter and early Spring months. Tracking information will be emailed to you when you pad has been shipped.
