Skito Equalizer® Saddle Pads are custom-made, for the perfect pattern match to your saddle!
Equalizer® foam is made from a complex, open-cell, shock absorbing foam with a 100% recovery rate after impact and compression.
The foam, with over 50% of its ingredients from non-allergenic plant sources, is visco-elastic and contours to form-fit the area between the horse and the saddle... it will compress where there is pressure and support the other areas under the saddle, effectively relieving your horse’s back from pressure points.
The open-cell structure of the foam allows maximum air and water-vapor circulation, readily removing moisture from the back of the horse, lessening heat and irritation.
The pad is peaked in front and contoured to comfortably allow for the withers.

The amazing Skito Equalizer® open-cell foam is caputured in pockets on both sides of the pad, right where your saddle will sit. Each pocket seals with a heavy-duty Velcro closure down the center on the top-side of the pad for easy access (treeless saddle pads are made with Velcro enclosure in the front).
Shims are available for this pad as well... Front, center or rear shims need to be ordered separately, but can be included with your pad. For more information, email customer service to add these to your order.
An Insert pad is a complete pad that needs no additional pads, fabric, felt, or fillers between the horse and saddle. Your choice of fabrics for the top, bottom materials, and foam inserts. Wool/Poly bottom is 80% wool and 20% poly, an economical choice that performs well. The 100% wool bottom breathes better than the wool/poly and is a bit more non-slip. The Quilted Felt bottom is thin wool felt; it is thinner and more non-slip than the wool fleece. The Split-Bottom is a good choice for English and Australian saddles, as it reduces the pad thickness under the rider's leg; it is not needed with western style pads. In addition, wear leathers (Nylon Cordura) and rigging tie straps are standard.

Pictured are the Western Square pad and AP shaped. When checking out, please specify the brand, model, and seat size of your saddle to ensure a custom fit. All popular Trail and Endurance patterns are available. Your pad will be custom made to fit the exact shape of your saddle.
