Features
This is no ordinary bareback pad! These beautifully crafted bareback pads feature:
- foam inserts which create a channel along your horse's spine, and cushion your horse's back from rider weight (more details follow).
- a unique "tacky" seat for the ultimate bareback grip
- a sturdy handhold in the front
- front and rear stainless steel D-rings for breastplate and crupper attachment!
- English leather billets. The traditional English billets and girth provide added rider safety compared to standard bareback pads that often have weak or faulty buckles.
Materials & Construction
This bareback pad is made with 100% wool fleece bottom, which wicks sweat and heat from your horse's back. Skito's Equalizer® foam inserts, sandwiched between the top and bottom fabrics, provide excellent cushion and shock absorption for both you and the horse. The foam panels are in individual pockets on either side of the pad, creating a clean spinal channel for your horse's comfort. The insert pockets are sealed securely with heavy-duty Velcro closure at the back edge of the pad for easy access.
