Equalizer Insert Pad

Product Information

An Insert pad is a complete pad that needs no additional pads, fabric, felt, or fillers between the horse and saddle.  The pad design is dictated by the saddle profile and tree/bar design.  Many generic patterns are available, while custom designs and variations are the norm, not the exception.  All pads accommodate the natural curvature of the horses spine, with High Profile option for high withered horses. The unique Equalizer® open cell foam is captured in a shaped envelope on either side of the spine with a patented Velcro closure for easy access.  The Velcro envelope on either side of the spine enables the addition of shims to compensate for low spots, lift, or a bridging condition (sold separately). The Insert pad is constructed with a combination of fabrics such as exclusive Skito wool/polyfleece, Cotton/Poly Duck, Cotton/Poly quilt, Nylon Cordura, Tapestry, and Upholstery materials.  In addition, wear leathers (Nylon Cordura)  and rigging straps are standard.

Available in the following styles: Western (30", 32", 34"), Barrel/Endurance, English AP shaped, Aussie shaped, All Purpose Square, and Dressage Square.  Pictured are the Western Square pad and AP shaped.  When checking out, please specify the brand, model, and seat size of your saddle to ensure a custom fit.  All popular Trail and Endurance patterns are available.  Your pad will be custom made to fit the exact shape of your saddle.  For an additional $10 charge, the pad can be made longer to provide an area for saddle bags to rest on.  For treeless saddles, please go to the Treeless Skito Pad item.
