Arete's newest style, Iberian II half chaps are the ultimate in style and function. These chaps feature a high spanish top for a long sleek profile, premium Black boot leather outside, soft goat suede lining, faux swagger tabs with an embossed Arete logo, stretch leather gusset panel for a custom fit, YKK zippers made to last, an elastic strap at the top to keep your chaps securely in place, and elastic straps under the foot for added security.
Short Sizes now have a more tapered ankle!
These chaps are great for schooling, small shows, and clinics/lessons. Save your nice tall boots for the big shows and still ride in style! The USDF now accepts half chaps for amateurs showing at the lower levels in Dressage!! Check with your local show secretary or 2009 USDF rule book for details.

Please measure to ensure a proper fit. For width, measure around the widest part of your calf, over your normal riding pants, while in a seated position (pull the soft measuring tape SNUG around your calf). For height, measure from the instep of your foot to the underside of your knee while seated, with your normal riding boots on, or barefoot from the ground to the back of your knee.
If you are between sizes, order the SMALLER size.
